Youth Services — Supporting Youth in the Age of AI
AI is changing how we learn, work, and live. Although it creates new opportunities, it also makes it harder for many young people to find direction and enter the job market.
Today, many youth face:
- Increasing difficulty in securing stable employment
- Rapid changes in required skills and career paths
- Academic and career-related uncertainty
- Heightened levels of stress, anxiety, and self-doubt
OCLS recognizes that these pressures can be overwhelming. Our Youth Services are designed to respond not only to economic and technological change, but also to the emotional and psychological realities youth are experiencing.
We encourage youth to rediscover and develop their core human capabilities, including:
- Curiosity(好奇心) — the drive to explore, ask questions, and continuously learn
- Creativity(创造力) — the ability to imagine, design, and build new possibilities
- Empathy(同理心) — understanding others and forming authentic relationships
- Emotion(情感) — emotional intelligence, resilience, and self-regulation
- Self-awareness(自我意识) — clarity about one’s values, strengths, and direction
Our Commitment to Youth
OCLS Youth Services aim to:
- Support youth mental well-being in times of uncertainty
- Help youth build confidence, purpose, and self-understanding
- Bridge the gap between technological change and human growth
- Create safe, inclusive spaces for learning, dialogue, and community connection
By focusing on both practical skills and inner development, we help young people not only prepare for future careers, but also grow into resilient, engaged, and confident members of Canadian society.
