NOTICE OF OCLS PARENT COMMITTEE 2020 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)
The Ottawa Chinese Language School (OCLS) Parent Committee gives notice that OCLS’s 2020 AGM will be held online at 1:30 pm on Saturday, September 19, 2020 .
Each parent or guardian of a child registered in the OCLS is a regular member of the OCLS and is eligible to vote at the AGM and eligible to be a member of the committee. All members are invited to attend the 2020 AGM and meet OCLS’s Board of Directors. Your vote is important to the future direction of the Chinese School.
The Agenda for the meeting will include:
- Reports by the Chairperson of the Board and the new Principal; financial report by the Treasurer
- Re-election of directors and election of new directors
- New Business
We need new members to join the board so the school can continue to strive a good learning environment for your children. If you are interested in maintaining and improving your children’s school, please come and join us in this Annual General Meeting and/or consider volunteering as a candidate for Director. If you can think of another parent who would be a good candidate, ask that parent to consider volunteering.
