Founded in 1972 and formally registered as a charitable organization in 1974, Ottawa Chinese Language School Charity (OCLS) is the first Chinese language school established in the Ottawa region and remains the only registered charity devoted to advancing Chinese education and cultural understanding.

To provide high-quality Chinese language instruction for students of all ages and backgrounds, enabling them to gain literacy, communication skills, and a deeper appreciation of the language's cultural context.
